With the slogan “Visakha Steel is Andhra’s Right,”the movie Ukku Satyagraham was made to oppose the privatization of the Steel Plant, featuring people’s revolutionary icon Gaddar in the lead role. Directed by Jana Star Satya Reddy, the film has successfully completed 100 days and was celebrated with grandeur.
The grand 100-day celebrations took place under the leadership of Nandi Award-winning director and producer Karem Vinay Prakash, with several distinguished guests in attendance, including former Deputy Mayor Dadi Satyanarayana, senior actor & GVMC Brand Ambassador Prasanna Kumar, renowned film producer Karam Mamatha, acclaimed lyricist and singer Majji Devisri, and prominent film directors Rakesh Reddy, Yadi Kumar, and Shubhashree Anne Evangelin. Several other celebrated filmmakers, producers, and actors joined the event held at Vizag Public Library, where they honored the team with a silver crown, shawls, and garlands.
On this occasion, Satya Reddy, the director, producer, and lead actor of UkkU Satyagraham, expressed his gratitude and excitement:
“I made this film with a legend like Gaddar Anna to raise awareness about the lifeline of Telugu people – the Visakha Steel Plant. We successfully released UkkU Satyagraham in 150 theaters worldwide, and it’s a great joy that in some places, the film has celebrated 100 days. To showcase India’s greatness to the world, I am now planning to produce a Bollywood film titled India The Great with renowned actors. Additionally, I am considering establishing a film studio in Visakhapatnam, which will provide a platform to encourage and support new talent.”
