‘6Journey’ will be close to the current situation in the country with themes like terrorism and patriotism – Director Basir Aluri

The film 6Journey, starring Ravi Prakash Reddy, Sameer Datta, Tasty Teja, Pallavi, Ramya Reddy, and others, is produced under the banner of Aruna Kumari Films by Palyam Sheshamma and Basireddy, with Ravi Prakash Reddy as the producer. Directed by Bashir Aaluri, the movie has completed all formalities, including censorship, and is set for a grand release on May 9. On this occasion, director Basir Aluri shared:

  • “I’ve faced many struggles in the film industry. I previously directed Samaram in Telugu and another film in Kannada. Now, my third film, 6Journey, is coming to the audience. It’s the story of six individuals’ life journeys. The plot revolves around a group planning to enjoy a Goa trip and then commit suicide. The film explores the circumstances they encounter during this journey.”
  • “Sameer and Pallavi’s pair delivered outstanding performances. Newcomer Abhiram played the villain brilliantly. The new music director, new fight master, and everyone involved worked wonderfully. The producer is from my hometown and has a great passion for cinema. He loved this story, which led to the project moving forward.”
  • “We shot the movie during the rainy season, facing many challenges. Nature cooperated with us immensely. Despite numerous obstacles, we successfully completed the shoot.”
  • “Music director MN Sinha provided excellent songs. The film has great music and songs, and one of our songs is already trending on YouTube. Made with a strong concept, this film will captivate everyone.”
  • “The climax is exceptionally powerful. How can terrorists attack the land where Lord Rama was born? We’ve crafted the climax to ignite patriotism, showing how the youth should fight back. It aligns with current situations. The entire film revolves around terrorism. The budget slightly exceeded our initial plan due to shooting at the border and the rainy season.”
  • “I’m planning to start another film in October, set against a Mumbai backdrop. Discussions are ongoing, and I’ll share full details soon.
