Young and talented hero Kiran Abbavaram stars in the highly anticipated period thriller “KA.” Nayan Sarika and Tanvi Ram play the lead heroines in this film. Presented by Mrs. Chinta Varalakshmi, the movie is produced by Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy under the banner of Srichakraas Entertainments, featuring high production values. The director duo, Sujeeth and Sandeep, have crafted “KA” as an action thriller set against a village backdrop. The film is gearing up for a grand theatrical release in Telugu on Diwali, October 31st. “KA” will also be released in Malayalam by hero Dulquer Salmaan through his company, Wayfarer Films. The recently released trailer has received a tremendous response, leading to a special press meet today.
During the press meet, director Sandeep remarked, “I hope you all enjoyed the trailer of ‘KA.’ We wrote this story with the audience of B and C centers in mind and crafted the screenplay accordingly. After sharing the story with Kiran, he immediately agreed to come on board, and we were encouraged by his confidence in us. Once the script was finalized, Kiran gave us ample creative freedom. Our goal was to present the story in a fresh way, so we designed each scene to reflect the 1970s and 80s. We incorporated elements of darkness during the day to make the town of Krishnagiri unique. From the moment the movie begins, you’ll be immersed in the world and connect with Vasudev’s character.”
Distributor Vamsi Nandipati stated, “The trailer of ‘KA’ is receiving a fantastic response. Since its release, we’ve been inundated with inquiries. We hope our film will bring in substantial revenue this Diwali. As an audience member, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I was just as excited watching it for the 30th time as I was the first. We’ve been discussing ‘Virupaksha,’ and I believe this movie will also become a reference point after its release. I’ve shared my suggestions with the team, and I’m thrilled to bring you a great movie for Diwali. We definitely seek your support.”
Actress Tanvi Ram expressed her excitement, saying, “I was thrilled when directors Sandeep and Sujeeth shared the story of ‘Ka’ with me. Whenever I choose a movie, I consider how my role as the heroine will contribute to the overall narrative. In ‘KA,’ every character holds significance, alongside mine. I’m happy to be part of this film and eagerly await your response.”
Heroine Nayan Sarika said, “I played the character of Satyabhama in the movie ‘KA.’ Acting in this role gave me great satisfaction. I would like to thank directors Sandeep and Sujith, as well as hero Kiran, for giving me the opportunity to act in this film. In ‘KA,’ I portrayed a character that is completely different from the one I played in my previous movie, ‘AAY.’ I am happy to have acted alongside Kiran. There are many twists and turns in the movie that will keep you excited. I look forward to meeting you in theaters on the 31st of this month and am eager for your feedback.”
Co-producer Chinta Vineesha Reddy said, “We wanted to show the trailer of the movie ‘KA’ to all of you and hear your response. We are delighted to see the positive reactions. Our entire team has worked hard to create a quality film, and we are all satisfied with the output. We believe that if the trailer is well-received, the movie will be even more enjoyable in theaters.”
Hero Kiran Abbavaram stated, “The feedback we’ve received about our ‘KA’ movie trailer has been very positive. With only four days left until the release, we are all very excited. The film will be released in Telugu on the 31st, and we plan to release it in Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam a week later. We made this decision because we couldn’t find theaters in Tamil Nadu, and Dulquer’s ‘Lucky Baskhar’ is releasing on the same date in Malayalam. If we achieve success in Telugu, we anticipate a good response in the other languages as well.
“When I first heard the story of ‘KA,’ I felt it was a narrative that needed to be shared with the audience. I had some issues with the content in my previous films, so we made this movie very carefully, from the first scene to the last, ensuring everything was well-executed. The climax of our movie will unfold over 20 minutes and contains surprising elements. ‘KA’ will not include unnecessary commercial aspects; the action scenes are incorporated only when they are essential to the story.
“My character, Vasudev, has many layers, including shades of gray. He is curious about what is happening in his neighbor’s life, which is why he reads other people’s letters. It will be intriguing to see how his life takes unexpected turns because of this curiosity. We hope that the cast and crew of ‘KA’ will earn good recognition for their hard work.”
