‘Vidudala 2’, which highlights Vijay Sethupathi’s performance, is a much-awaited sequel. The Telugu release rights for this film have been acquired by the renowned producer and head of Sri Vedaakshara Movies, Chintapalli Ramarao. Made as an intense period crime thriller by the visionary director Vetri Maaran, the film will hit the screens on December 20th.
Ahead of the movie’s release, the makers arranged an event to speak about it. Speaking on the occasion, Producer Chintapalli Ramarao said, “The recently released songs and trailer of this film have received a very good response. The trailer, as well as the songs, have made a mark. ‘Vidudala 2’ is the heroic revolutionary saga of an extraordinary individual who emerged from the common people who were suppressed by the arrogance of the rulers. This film is not a Tamil nativity film. It is a film based on the problems witnessed somewhere in a Telugu State. Vijay Sethuapathi is perfectly suited for the role of Perumal in this film. His acting in the role of a Naxalite and the way he portrayed the emotion of the character is amazing. He has a very good reputation among the audience as an actor. This film will further enhance his reputation. The directorial talent of Vetri Maaran, who has won the National Award seven times, is known to all. All the top heroes want to act under his direction. Maestro Ilaiyaraaja has provided thunderous music for this film. You can imagine what a film would be like with a combination like Vijay Sethupathi, Vetri Maaran, and Ilaiyaraaja.
