Recently, in a chat show, star Indian batsman Virat Kohli revealed that he loves listening to Nee Singam Dhaan from Silambarasan TR’s Patthu Thala. The song has been used in several instances on social media pages for reels based on cricket.
STR duly noted Virat Kohli being tagged in RCB’s post and even commented saying Nee Singam Dhaan that translates to ‘You are indeed a lion’. Fans of both STR and Virat have been rejoicing this unique collaboration of their idols on and off the screen respectively. But the story doesn’t end here. Both these stars are known for their unique beards and with STR now peaking in his fitness levels, he very well resembles Virat Kohli, barring the long hair. The conversation in Mumbai circles are that whether STR is playing Virat Kohli in a biopic that is ‘potentially’ in the making. Going by the recent social media camaraderie that VK and STR are sharing, one could say that STR could be an obvious choice provided Virat and Anushka give the nod to the producers in the near future.
While one is acing the IPL charts another is acing the industry with his lineup of projects like Thug Life, STR49, STR50 and 51. It would be a pan-Indian feast if Virat Kohli biopic is an addition to Silambarasan’s lineup.
