Rajinikanth, the legendary actor, on Wednesday spoke to TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh to enquire about his father, former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who is in judicial custody for his alleged role in the Skill Development Scam.
Rajinikanth called CBN a “great friend and fighter” and encouraged his son Lokesh to be strong.
According to sources, Rajinikanth told Lokesh that he had faith in Chandrababu’s innocence and integrity. He said that Chandrababu’s work for the development and welfare of the people would prove his honesty.
Rajinikanth recalled Chandrababu’s achievements and reforms during the conversation, reportedly saying that no arrests or accusations could stop Naidu’s progress or tarnish his image and popularity. He assured Lokesh that Naidu would keep working hard for the people, stressing that his commitment and discipline would bring positive outcomes.
Rajinikanth’s phone call to Lokesh is a significant boost for Chandrababu’s family. It is noteworthy that Rajinikanth had earlier attended the NTR 100 Years celebrations held in Vijayawada on April 28th as the chief guest.
Meanwhile, south superstar and Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan will be visiting Chandrababu Naidu in jail on Thursday.
