Prince Sivakarthikeyan’s multi-lingual biographical action film Amaran written and directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, produced by Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan, Mr. R. Mahendran and Sony Pictures International Productions, and co-produced by God Bless Entertainment, will be hitting the screens for Diwali on October 31st. Interim, Natural Star Nani launched the film’s theatrical trailer.
The trailer introduces us to the inspiring life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, a late Indian Army officer. The trailer opens with touching footage of Major Mukund and his daughter, seamlessly transitioning to Sivakarthikeyan’s portrayal of the officer and his on-screen daughter, with the talented Sai Pallavi as his devoted wife capturing the moment.
At the heart of the narrative lies Mukund’s unwavering commitment to serving his country, despite his mother’s reluctance. The trailer encapsulates themes of bravery and sacrifice, showcasing his journey as he navigates the challenges of military life and familial bonds.
Amaran promises to be more than just a film; it aims to serve as a tribute to the sacrifices made by Major Mukund. Sivakarthikeyan has come up with one of the brilliant performances, and he is the best fit for the character. Sai Pallavi played her part expertly.
CH Sai’s exceptional score and music composer GV Prakash Kumar’s soul-stirring score enhances the experience. Rajkumar Periasamy rightly balanced the patriotic elements and also family emotions. The production values are top class. With its powerful storytelling and emotional depth, the trailer has already begun to generate substantial buzz.
Nithiin’s father Sudhakar Reddy, and his sister Nikhitha Reddy will be releasing the Telugu version of the movie.
