

Tej, who is the lead actor, director, and producer of the trilingual movie DUDE, expressed shock and disappointment over a recent announcement by leading production house Mythri Movie Makers. They revealed the title DUDE for their pan-India film with director-turned-actor Pradeep Ranganathan. Tej mentioned that they have been promoting their film DUDE for over a year now.
He clarified that he has no intention to go up against a top-tier production house like Mythri, but has already brought this issue to their attention and hopes for a positive response from them.
Tej is directing and acting in DUDE, a trilingual film being made in Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam. Centered around football and driven by intense emotions, the film is dedicated to the late Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar, a passionate football lover.
Veteran actor Rangayana Raghu plays a key role as a football coach. The film is entering its final schedule soon, and post-production is also progressing simultaneously. Plans are in place to release it around August or September, across Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.

Raghavendra Rajkumar, who plays a crucial role, is also serving as a script consultant for the project. The film features a strong ensemble of female footballers portrayed by Sanya Kaveramma, Megha, Mohith, Dhruthi, Anargya, Dipali Pandey, Siri, Evangeline, Sonu Theertha Goud, Yashaswini, Mercy, and Monish. Other key roles are played by Sundar Raja, Sparsha Rekha, and Vijay Chendoor.
This ambitious film is being made under the banner of Panoramic Studios. PRO of this film Dheeraj – Appaji. Music is composed by Emil Mohammad of Jinke Mari fame, and Prem of Ala Modalaindi fame is handling the cinematography.
