After spellbinding one and all with the teaser called the First Offer, the makers of Macho Star Gopichand’s unique action entertainer Bhimaa directed by A Harsha and produced lavishly by KK Radhamohan under the banner of Sri Sathya Sai Arts began the musical promotions by unveiling the first single- Yedo Yedo Maaya.
While the teaser focussed mainly on showing the backdrop of the movie and introducing Gopichand’s character as a tough cop, they unveiled the love story of Bhimaa through the first single. Yedo Yedo Maaya composed by Ravi Basrur of KGF and Salaar fame is a soothing romantic number. The composition is so gentle that we instantly fall in love with it.
Lyrics by Kalyan Chakravarthy depict the protagonist’s adoration for the girl he is profoundly in love with. He is a cop who keeps his egos aside to spend time with her. Malvika Sharma who is introduced as a teacher also loves the way he mingles with kids and helps them. Gopichand and Malvika’s jodi looked loveable together on screen and they shared a beautiful chemistry. The vocals by Anurag Kulkarni are extremely fascinating. Overall, the song leaves a lasting impression.
Priya Bhavani Shankar is the other leading lady in the movie. Swamy J Gowda takes care of the cinematography, while the music is provided by Ravi Basrur of Salaar fame.
Ramana Vanka is the production designer and Thammiraju is the editor. Kiran is an online editor, while Ajju Mahankali provides dialogues. The movie has fights choreographed by Ram-Lakshman, Venkat, and Dr. Ravi Varma.
As recently announced by the makers, Bhimaa will grace the cinemas on March 8th for Maha Shivaratri.
