Macho Star Gopichand and director Sreenu Vaitla collaborated for the first time for a hilarious action thriller Viswam which is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under People Media Factory and Venu Donepudi’s Chitralayam Studios. After teasing with the teaser and songs, the makers today unveiled the film’s theatrical trailer.
The trailer starts with a voiceover from a terrorist, revealing his involvement in numerous terrorist activities across the country. Gopichand is then introduced as a dedicated Jawaan stationed at the border. As the story unfolds, the tone shifts from serious mood to humorous with the introduction of various quirky characters, each adding their own flavor to the plot.
It is evident through the trailer that Viswam is Sree Vaitla mark entertainer, but with a unique storyline. The terrorist angle adds fresh perspective to the story that has a large span. The dialogues were witty and also powerful.
Gopichand has shown two different variations in his character. While he looked macho and intense as a Jawaan, he was humorous in episodes with Naresh and co. He is given a stylish makeover. The dialogue “Nenu Ediana Problem Ki Connect Ayithe, Chivari Daaka Nilabadatam Naa Balaheenatha,” signifies his character. Kavya Thapar appeared in a glamorous avatar and the trailer also showed their love story.
One standout aspect is Vennela Kishore, whose eccentric character shines in the train episode. VTV Ganesh, Naresh, Pragathi, Prithvi, Sunil, Rahul Ramakrishna, etc. add to the comedic mix.
The visuals looked stylish and spectacular, thanks to exceptional cinematography of KV Guhan, while Chaitan Bharadwaj’s background is terrific. The grand production values of People Media Factory and Chitralayam Studios are evident in every frame. Gopi Mohan penned the screenplay. Amar Reddy Kudumula is the editor and Kiran Manne is the art director.
With its clever mix of humor and action, this trailer promises that the movie is going to offer a wholesome entertainer. Viswam is slated for release on October 11th for Dussehra.
