Kaalam Raasina Kathalu, directed and produced by MVN Sagar, premiered in theaters on August 29. The film features a fresh cast, including MVN Sagar, Shruti Shankar, Vikas, Viharika Chaudhary, Abhilash Goguboina, Uma Recharla, Rohit Konda, Hanvika Srinivas, Ravi Teja Bonala, Pallavi Rathore, and Reshma. The makers held a success meet yesterday.
In a recent success event for the film, the cast and crew celebrated its positive response from audiences. The lead actress, Hanvika, expressed her gratitude during the event: “I want to thank all the media people who attended our success meet. Playing the character of Navya has been a wonderful experience. I am grateful to Sagar garu for this opportunity. Words cannot fully express my appreciation for the beautifully portrayed Navya character. I also want to thank the entire team for their hard work.”
Uma Recharla said, “I played the character Radha in this film Kaalam Raasina Kathalu. I thank the director, Sagar garu, for giving me this role. I also want to thank my co-stars Abhilash and Sreedhar garu for making me feel comfortable, even though this is my first film. I am grateful to the entire team and also to the media for being here.”
At a recent success event for the film, MVN Sagar addressed the audience and spoke about the film’s impact. He said, “All the characters in the movie will connect with the audience. Mainly, Kirak Kiran’s character will leave a lasting impression in the climax, showing how a boy in love can cause his parents pain. I also want to thank all three heroines. Generally, parents feel distressed when they can’t provide a dowry, and Hanvika did an excellent job portraying this pain. Another actress, a Telugu girl, performed well beside me. In her role as Radha, Uma is excellent, similar to Vaishnavi Chaitanya in Baby and Payal Rajput in RX100. Our film is running successfully. Although it’s a small film with a slow reach, it has had a good run wherever it has been released without cancellations. We expect it to continue performing well in the coming weeks.”
Vikas said, “I am lucky to do this role and when I was approached for this character first, I was unsure if I could do the film. But Sagar garu filled confidence in me. I am happy that everyone liked the film.”
