The new breed of filmmakers in Tollywood is experimenting with different genres of film-making, rather than sticking to age-old routine concepts. Harshiv Karthik is one such talent who is willing to make his mark in Telugu cinema. Interestingly, he has written, designed, produced, and directed the upcoming film, besides playing the lead role.
The movie is titled Bahumukham and comes up with a tagline- Good, Bad & The Actor. This suspense drama thriller was filmed in multiple locations in Atlanta, Macon, Canton, and the surroundings of Georgia, and the USA. The first look poster sees Harshiv Karthik in a complex character. While one side of the face is painted blue with Vibhuti on the forehead, the other side shows him in a stylish avatar. While tears roll down from an eye, there is happiness on the other side. His hands are locked up. This poster shows the distinctive nature of the character.
Swarnima Singh and Maria Martynova are the heroines. Arvind Reddy is the co-producer of the movie made under the banner of Crystal Mountain Productions. Luke Fletcher is the cinematographer, whereas Sricharan Pakala provides the background score. Phani Kalyan is the music director of the movie for which dialogues are by Ramaswamy and Harshiv Karthik. The actor-director also takes care of editing alongside Garry BH.
The protagonist (Tanveer) is an aspiring young actor who moves to a city after spending his formative years in a detention center. He meets Disha, a psychotherapist by profession, every month as a part of his mandatory counseling sessions. Tanveer seeks help from Disha to pursue his and his mother’s dream to be an actor and tries to start a new life and a new beginning. However, he holds terrifying secrets that make him a threat to the people around him. The protagonist’s dichotomy is what the story explores and presents to its audience in this suspenseful drama with thrilling reveals and unexpected twists and turns in the story.
