“Khadgam” Set for Re-Release

Directed by Krishna Vamsi, the film Khadgam starring Srikanth, Prakash Raj, Sivaji Raja, and Ravi Teja is gearing up for a re-release after 22 years. The film’s unit recently participated in a press meet to share their excitement about the film returning to theaters. Director Krishna Vamsi expressed his happiness about bringing the movie back to audiences after over two decades.

Actor Shafi, sharing his experience, said, “I was waiting for seven years after graduating from the National School of Drama, and Khadgam was the opportunity I had been waiting for. I’m grateful to Krishna Vamsi for ending my long wait by giving me this chance.”

Sivaji Raja, who played a pivotal role in the film, expressed his gratitude to producer Madhu Murali, saying, “Special thanks to producer Madhu Murali for giving me this opportunity. We recently celebrated the Murari festival, and now Khadgam is being re-released. I initially refused the role in Khadgam, but it turned out to be one of the best films of my career.”

Hero Srikanth also shared his excitement, saying, “Even though generations have changed, Khadgam remains one of the finest patriotic films. Initially, producer Madhu Murali didn’t want to cast me, but Krishna Vamsi convinced him. I will never forget this film in my life, and I am very happy that it is being re-released.”

Director Krishna Vamsi thanked everyone who contributed to the making of the film, especially producer Madhu Murali. He added, “The title Khadgam was chosen with the idea that the Indian flag is like a sword, representing the power and pride of the nation.
