M4M Heroine Jo Sharma Graces Atlanta TAMA Ugadi Celebrations

Ugadi, the first festival of the Telugu community, was celebrated with great grandeur in the United States. The event took place at Denmark High School premises in Atlanta, organized by the Telugu Association of Metro Atlanta (TAMA), marking the beginning of the Sri Vishvavasu Nama Samvatsaram. Actress Jo Sharma, Heroine of the movie M4M (Motive For Murder), participated as the celebrity guest and added charm to the celebrations. On this occasion, TAMA members felicitated Jo Sharma on stage.

Speaking at the event, Jo Sharma said, “Heartfelt Ugadi wishes to all Telugu people around the world on the occasion of Sri Vishvavasu Nama Samvatsaram. I’m grateful to the organizers of TAMA for inviting me as the celebrity guest. The essence of pure Telugu culture was beautifully showcased here. I thoroughly enjoyed the traditional ‘Banti Bhojanam’ served on banana leaves, which featured 30 different delicious Telugu dishes. The handcrafted mementoes by artists from Kondapalli, reflecting rural themes, were truly heartwarming. I extend my sincere thanks to TAMA President Mr. Rupendra Vemulapalli, Chairman Mr. Raghava Tadavarthi, and each and every member of the TAMA family.”

The event was also graced by Commissioner Todd Levent, Gudivada MLA Venigandla Ramu, Duggu Reddy, sponsors, TAMA members, and hundreds of NRI families. Amidst traditional music, dance, and festive cheer, the celebrations stood as a symbol of cultural unity and Telugu pride in the diaspora.
