Madhunandan to play a key role from ‘Shambhala’

Promising star Aadi Saikumar’s much-anticipated supernatural horror thriller, Shambhala: A Mystical World, directed by Ugandhar Muni and produced by Rajasekhar Annabhimoju and Mahidhar Reddy under the prestigious Shining Pictures banner, is generating a buzz with its first-look and character introduction posters. These posters indeed have sparked curiosity among audiences. Following the reveal of Archana Iyer as the female lead and Swasika in a pivotal role, the makers have now introduced another key character.

Talented actor Madhunandhan takes on the role of a constable named Hanumanthu, a character seen with fear etched on his face, holding a lantern while gazing into the unknown. A scarecrow looms on the wall behind him, with a temple just beyond, symbolizing two contrasting elements. As the poster suggests, Madhunandhan’s character plays a crucial role in the narrative.

The film is primarily being shot at the renowned Ramoji Film City (RFC) in Hyderabad. Ravi Varma and Meesala Laxman also feature in prominent roles.

Indian composer Sriram Madduri, who has previously collaborated with Hollywood legend Hans Zimmer, is crafting a groundbreaking score for Shambhala, bringing fresh, unprecedented sounds to Indian cinema.

Set against the backdrop of three pivotal time periods—1980, 1,000 years ago, and an ancient era 10,000 years before—the story seamlessly intertwines these eras.

The makers will announce the film’s release date once production is complete.
