Makers official response on ‘Srimanthudu’ creative integrity
The makers have responded to the baseless allegations that the movie Srimanthudu has similarities with a novel.
“Rich man, both the novels are in the public domain. Both are different.
Anyone who examines the book and the film can readily attest to this fact.
The matter is currently under judicial review.
No hearings and judgments have been received till date.
Therefore, we appeal to the media not to come to an opinion.
We stand firm on our core idea of adopting the village which is the main objective of ‘Srimanthudu’.
All the allegations made by the author on Srimanthudu’s story are baseless.
Everyone should understand the fact that neither the court nor the writers’ association has given any judgment on that matter.
We would like to inform you that legal action will be taken against anyone who is spreading false propaganda on the matter under the jurisdiction of the court.
We request the media to please not spread baseless allegations.
