Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s most awaited stylish mass action entertainer ‘Eagle’. Under the direction of Karthik Ghattamaneni, the film is produced by producer TG Vishwa Prasad under the banner of Tollywood’s leading production company People Media Factory, while Vivek Kuchibhotla is acting as a co-producer. Kavya Thapar and Anupama Parameswaran are playing the heroines. The already released teaser, trailer and songs have received tremendous response. Eagle will have a grand release worldwide on February 9. In this context, heroine Kavya Thapar shared the special features of ‘Eagle’ in the press conference.
How will your role be in Eagle?
My character’s name is Rachna. I look like a girl with many unique goals in life. It has a wonderful love story. Not to reveal too much about it (laughs). The chemistry between Ravi Teja and my characters is very unique. The movie did very well. Ravi Teja, Director Karthik and our entire team are very happy and confident on Eagle. Eagle is sure to be a huge crowd pleaser.
How did you get into the ‘Eagle’ project?
Director Karthik Ghattamaneni told the story of Eagle while he was in Mumbai for the shooting of a Bollywood movie. It felt so new and amazing. I wanted to make a film. Above all, doing it in Ravi Teja’s film is a great opportunity. Selected after the look test. The action romance in Eagle is very unique. Romance is very different and new. Surely the audience will enjoy it a lot.
What was it like to work at People Media Factory?
I feel lucky to work in People Media Factory. The film was shot internationally in a very grand manner. I want to do more films with them.
Best compliment you received about Eagle?
Author Manigaru” has acted brilliantly. He said that writing appeared on the screen instead of poetry. It was very satisfying to receive this appreciation from the author. I believe that I have done hundred percent justice to the role.
How did the Eagle journey go?
Eagle’s Beautiful Journey. They shot at international level in amazing foreign locations like Poland and London. It really felt like a vacation. I enjoyed it a lot.
How was working with Ravi Teja?
I was lucky to do a film with Ravi Teja. I am a big fan of Ravi Teja’s personality. He is very positive energy. They are very fun and supportive on the sets. Working with him was an unforgettable experience.
Has covid time affected your career?
Almost everyone has had a break time due to covid. But during this time I did Ek mini story and fake web series. Also, staying at home, eating home-cooked meals, spending time with family, helping others, etc. gave me the opportunity to do all this.
What kind of films do you want to do?
I want to do a full mass action film (laughs). Also wants to do supernatural films.
