Actor Naveen Polishetty appeared on the 21st and 22nd episodes of Telugu Indian Idol season 3 this week, where he shared details about a major accident he endured. Polishetty, responding to questions from host Sreeram about his absence from films since Miss Shetty-Mr Polishetty, disclosed that he suffered multiple fractures in a major accident in the USA six months ago, which led to a period of depression.
Polishetty described the past six months as extremely challenging, expressing concern over whether his injured hand would recover. During this time, he found solace in music, which he credits with aiding his emotional recovery. He spoke about the slow progress and the support music provided him during these difficult moments.
“The last six months have been very challenging for me. I was deeply concerned about whether my injured hand would regain its movement. During this difficult time, music became my solace. It became clear to me that while people offer support and encouragement during tough times and medicine may or may not be effective, music was the only thing that truly helped me navigate through these challenges. This experience has deepened my appreciation for music and made me a big fan of all the musicians and contestants of Telugu Indian Idol 3,” Polishetty said.
In addition to discussing his recovery, Polishetty revealed about his two upcoming movies and delighted the audience by performing a song live on the show.
