aha Telugu Indian Idol 3 took an unexpected turn as contestant Keshav Ram was eliminated during the 22nd episode of the season on August 24, 2024.This surprising outcome has left fans and participants stunned, considering Keshav’s consistently outstanding performances throughout the competition.
Since its debut on June 14, 2024, Telugu Indian Idol 3 has seen six contestants eliminated. Prior to Keshav, the show had bid farewell to Kushal Sharma, Hari Priya, Ranji Sree Poornima, Sree Dhruti, Abhigna, and Sai Vallabha. Eliminations are determined by a combination of audience votes and judges’ scores.
In the most recent episode, hosted by Shreeram Chandra, Keshav Ram found himself in the Danger Zone alongside Sri Keerti and Skanda, following the lowest scores from the judges. While Skanda was saved with the highest audience votes, Keshav faced elimination after receiving the fewest votes.
The news came as a shock to the judges and fellow contestants, including Shreeram Chandra considering Keshav’s outstanding performances and popularity in the show.
In a surprising gesture, Judge Karthik invited Keshav to perform at his upcoming concerts in Hyderabad on November 9 and Tirupati on September 28. He also suggested that Keshav block these dates and take a brief break for now.
“It’s highly unusual for a judge to extend such an opportunity during the show itself, and this is a first for aha Telugu Indian Idol Season 3,” said Shreeram Chandra. “This is a rare and generous gesture of support.”
Judge Thaman also offered words of encouragement, saying, “Keshav, keep your spirits high. And every artist needs a little push, and Karthik has already provided that support and be ready to work for us and sing for us. The entertainment industry is full of opportunities, and your talent will undoubtedly lead to future success.”
Reflecting on his own struggles, actor and special guest judge Naveen Polishetty recounted a pivotal moment from his early career. “During my struggle days, I was waiting for a significant break and got the chance to participate in an acting reality show, where the winner was promised a Bollywood debut under a major banner,” Naveen revealed. “Although the show was going well, I was eliminated in the fourth round. Seeing Keshav’s elimination reminded me of my own experience.”
Naveen added, “I was very low and disappointed after my elimination, questioning my own abilities. The movie the show’s winner was promised was never produced, but the love I received from the audience for my later work was overwhelming. I share this story to encourage you, Keshav. Let this moment not define you but rather shape the rest of your journey.”
With seven contestants already eliminated, only the top six remain in the competition, each vying for the coveted title. The competition is intensifying as the remaining contestants showcase their skills and strategies, determined to outshine their rivals.
