Hyderabad, September 5, 2024 – The exhilarating journey of aha Telugu Indian Idol 3 is nearing its grand conclusion, with just two weeks left until the highly anticipated finale. The singing competition, which began with an unprecedented turnout of over 15,000 aspiring singers, has now narrowed down to the top six finalists.
The initial auditions, which kicked off on May 4, 2024, in New Jersey and Hyderabad, showcased remarkable talent from over 5,000 participants. From this impressive pool, the top 12 finalists emerged: Bharat Raj, Keerthana, Keshav Ram, Hari Priya, Sri Keerthi, Naseeruddin, Skanda, Duvvuri Sridhruthi, Rajani Sree, Sai Vallabha, Khushal Sharma, and Anirudh Suswaram.
After rigorous eliminations and public voting over the past 24 episodes, the competition has now condensed to six finalists: Anirudh Suswaram, Skanda, Keerthana, Sri Keerthi, Bharat, and Naseeruddin. These finalists will showcase their talents in the upcoming semi-final episodes, set to stream on September 6 and 7, 2024, exclusively on aha.
In a recent promo of the semi-final episode, the finalists dazzled in traditional attire, performing Raagas and Keerthana’s in celebration of Vinayaka Chavithi. Their performances, accompanied by the musicians of aha Telugu Indian Idol 3, captivated both the judges and the audience.
Judge S. Thaman revealed that contestants Naseeruddin and Bharat had sung a song in Pawan Kalyan’s film OG and received praise from Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan himself.
The singing competition, which commenced on June 14, 2024, has seen consistent eliminations based on public votes, with wild card entries adding to the excitement. Fans are encouraged to vote for their favorite contestants via the aha app. Voting is open from Friday 7 p.m. to Sunday 7 a.m. The finale will determine who will be crowned the aha Telugu Indian Idol Season 3 winner.
