Pilla Puli Song From Suriya’s Aakasam Nee Haddhu Ra Launched In Mid-Air

Suriya is leaving no stones unturned with the promotions of his upcoming film Aakasam Nee Haddhu Ra. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film is based on the life of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath. The makers ahead of Valentine’s Day have unveiled the romantic song from the film.

Along with the song, the makers also released one-minute video of Pilla Puli. The song shows lovely romance between Suriya and his leading lady in the film- Aparna Balamurali. Suriya looks dashing, wherein Aparna appeared stunning in the song composed by GV Prakash. The lyrics were penned by Ramajogayya Sastry and Anurag Kulkarni crooned the song.

The launch of the song took place mid-air in a SpiceJet flight carrying the film’s team members along with 100 underprivileged kids from Agaram Foundation who were selected based on a competition.

Sudha Kongara said, “Suriya promised me freedom and I hope I don’t let him down. I hope I delivered the best. I thank my entire cast and crew for their support and making my dream possible. My father passed away while I was doing the film. I adopted a new father and it was Mohan Babu sir. He was the only one who used to take best care of me.”

Suriya said, “In 2000, only less than 1% was able to fly. This man Captain Gopinath, he came and changed the whole industry. He made common man fly. This film is tribute to him. Sudha has given her 10 years to make this possible.

It’s Sudha’s film. Whatever respects, credits come for this film goes to Sudha. This is really important time of my career. Sudha is like my sister. She stood by me and made this happen for us.”

Suriya also lauded Mohan Babu who played an important role in the film. “Mohan Babu is like a godfather figure. Scenes between us were major highlight in the film. We have given best version possible.”

“This photo on the flight is not of Suriya’s. It’s Maara (His character name). This is respect to all the unsung heroes in our nation. Please don’t mistake it as stardom,” quoted he.

Mohan Babu said, “After Shivaji, Shivakumar is the next best actor in Tamil. I’ve associated with his son Suriya. What a man he’s. Shivakumar sir, you must feel proud of your son. He’s such a great actor. I wish, with the blessings of almighty, the film will become a super hit. Sudha is a disciplined director. I thank one and all.”

This event marks the first time that a film’s audio release took place inside a flight.
