Currently Mani Ratnam is busy in pre production work for his ambitious historical magnum opus, Ponniyin Selvan. With the star cast like like Amitabh Bachchan, Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Vijay Sethupathi, Mohan Babu, Jayam Ravi and Keerthy Suresh this epic drama is getting larger day by day. Now, Kollywood circles reveals that star heroine Trisha is in talks for a special role in Ponniyin Selvan. An official announcement is awaited to confirm the buzz. Madras Talkies and Lyca Prodcutions will bankroll the project. Historical Ponniyin Selvan’s regular shooting will commence from December this year.
