The new age actor Sumanth Prabhas, who made a strong debut with Mem Famous, is all set to take on the lead role in an exciting new project. This film marks the maiden production for Red Puppet Productions. Subash Chandra, known for his work with MR. Productions on several acclaimed short films, is making his directorial debut with this venture. Nidhi Pradeep is making her debut as the lead actress, while Jagapathi Babu plays a key role in the film.
Today, the makers unveiled the film’s title, Godari Gattupaina, a name that has already gained popularity, thanks to the hit song from Sankranthiki Vasthunnam. The title logo is visually appealing, while the poster beautifully showcases the serene Godavari region — with the river and village. The overall design and aesthetic of both the title and the poster exude warmth and charm.
The Director of the film quoted, “How peaceful it is to sit and spend time with your friends on the serene godavari river banks on a breazy evening? Same will be our movie – relaxed and full of fun with beautiful emotions. Set in the backdrop of Velpuru, Relangi, and Bhimavaram of the Godavari districts, our pure and heartfelt film is titled Godari Gattupaina. The picturesque landscapes of the West Godavari region will play a significant role in enhancing the film’s visual appeal”.
The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Rajeev Kanakala, Laila, Devi Prasad, Harshavardhan, Sudarshan, Rajkumar Kasireddy, Viva Raghav, and Rohit Krishna Varma, who all play pivotal roles.
On the technical front, the film brings together a talented team: Sai Santosh is handling cinematography, Naga Vamshi Krishna is composing the music, Pravalya serves as the production designer, Anil Kumar P is the editor and Nagarjuna Thallapalli is the sound designer.
The shoot for Godari Gattupaina is currently underway, and is shaping up well.
