It features actors Naveen Chandra, Nanda, Manoj Bharathiraja, Muthukumar, Srindaa, Sreejith Ravi, Samrith, Surya Raghaveshwar, Surya Kumar, Tharun, and Sasha Bharen in key roles. The series started streaming on Amazon Prime from today.
At the press meet, Naveen Chandra said, “Until now, audiences and the media have supported all the films and web series I’ve done. Now I present ‘Snakes and Ladders.’ The story revolves around four teenage kids and an unexpected incident in their lives and how they navigate through it. This story came from Karthik Subbaraju’s team, and it’s a pleasure to work with Stone Bench. This is my third project with Amazon Prime, and I thank their team for these wonderful opportunities. The four kids featured are newcomers, and they performed brilliantly. The three directors have crafted this web series wonderfully. We worked in three shifts and shot entirely in Kodaikanal. Cinematographer Vignesh synced well with all three directors. The series starts streaming on October 18, and I’ve already received positive feedback. It’s streaming in six languages, so everyone should watch it. I believe everyone will enjoy it. I have come this far with the support of the audience, and I hope families will enjoy it this weekend.”
Writer and director Kamala expressed, “It’s a joy to work with an amazing actor like Naveen Chandra. The kids acted really well. We made this series together. It’s been great collaborating with Ashok and Bharath. Our series arrived on Amazon Prime, so everyone, please watch it.”
Actor Nanda stated, “It’s a pleasure to work with Stone Bench and Amazon. This is universal content. While it’s a crime thriller, it has dark humor that makes it suitable for family viewing. All commercial elements are included. The nine episodes are thrilling. We request everyone to watch our series.”
