Sushanth Anumolu has become very selective with his projects, and after a significant hiatus, he is making a grand return with his milestone 10th film, officially announced today on the occasion of the actor’s birthday. The movie, tentatively titled #SA10, is written and directed by Prithviraj Chitteti and is being produced by Varun Kumar and Raj Kumar under the Sanjeevani Creations banner.
The announcement of the movie was made through a striking and eerie poster, showcasing Sushanth in two starkly contrasting looks that evoke a sense of mystery and intrigue. The top half of the poster presents him in a stylish, intense avatar, exuding a serious expression and a piercing gaze, surrounded by skulls on the ground, with a cat watching him. This section conveys a powerful, almost menacing energy.
In sharp contrast, the lower half of the poster mirrors the first, revealing a more vulnerable side of the actor. Here, Sushanth is seen roaring out emotionally, with a lot of chaos around him. This juxtaposition hints at the complexity and multifaceted nature of the role he portrays in the film.
As the poster suggests, #SA10 is a supernatural mystery thriller in which Sushanth plays the role of an exorcist. This indeed is first of its kind in Telugu cinema, which was a major factor in his decision to take on this project after such a long gap. The makeover he underwent for the role is clearly evident in the poster.
Anirudh Krishnamurthy provided dialogues, apart from writing the screenplay, along with director Prithviraj Chitteti. YVB Shiva Sagar handles the cinematography and Ashish Teja Pulala is the art director. More details about the movie are eagerly awaited.
