All songs celebrating motherly love have become timeless hits. Notably, every Tollywood film centered on a mother’s love has also seen success at the box office. Now, a new movie titled ‘Maathru’ is set to capture this sentiment. Produced by B Siva Prasad under the Shree Padmini Cinemas banner and presented by Smt. Padma, ‘Maathru’ reflects his dedication to storytelling. After introducing himself as a director and producer with ‘Raa Raja’, B Siva Prasad is now showcasing his passion by producing this heartfelt film. Directed by John Zakky, the movie features Sriram, Nandini Roy, Sugi Vijay, and Rupali Bhushan in key roles.
The songs released from Maathru so far have deeply moved listeners, captivating hearts with their soulful melodies. Meanwhile, another emotional track, “Chusthunnavemo,” was unveiled. This song portrays the pain of separation from a mother. With music composed by Shekar Chandra, lyrics by Suddala Ashok Teja, and vocals by Karunya, the song leaves a lasting impact. Suddala Ashok Teja’s national award-winning lyrical brilliance tugs at the heartstrings, while Karunya’s emotional rendition amplifies the sentiment.
Popular filmmaker Tammareddy Bharadwaja heaped praises on the song, acknowledging its emotional depth. He highlighted the scarcity of movies and songs celebrating maternal love in recent times and extended his best wishes to the Maathru team for their efforts in reviving this sentiment.
With the movie’s shooting completed, the team is gearing up for its grand release. The ongoing musical promotions, including the heartwarming songs, have already made waves on YouTube, trending across platforms.
