Ajay Devgn has turned producer for hit next Tanhaji. Makers has released the first look poster of Tanhaji. Saif Ali Khan is seen as antagonist and Kajol is also playing wife of Ajay Devgn. Tanhaji is period drama set in the 17th century. Om Raut’s directorial is based on the life of Tanaji Malusare, the military leader of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of Maratha Empire. Ajay Devgn will be seen portraying the role of Subhedar Tanaji Malusare, Saif Ali Khan as Udaybhan Rathod and Kajol in the role of Savitri Malusare. Tanhaji film is set in Sinhagad Battle where the Unsung warrior has captured Kondhana Fort fighting against Udhaybhan Rathod. Tanaji was injured during the war and later died. Tanhaji was scheduled for a worldwide release on 10 January 2020.
