Association President Veerashankar, Vice President Vashishta, and Directors Anil Ravipudi and Harish Shankar handed over the invitation to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy yesterday evening. The association members mentioned that the Chief Minister would attend the ceremony. TFDA President Veerashankar highlighted that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has a strong vision for the development of the Telugu film industry and believes that the CM will make Tollywood the hub of world cinema.
TFDA President Veera Shankar stated, “I, along with Harish Shankar, Anil Ravipudi, Vashishta, and others, met Chief Minister Revanth Reddy yesterday evening. I was delighted that the CM spoke with us about the film industry for about an hour when he was initially supposed to speak for just five minutes. The CM’s vision for the development of the film industry was surprising. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that Tollywood should become the world’s cinema hub and that the government will provide support in that direction. We suggested that it would be beneficial to establish a world-class film institute in Hyderabad. We are organizing this event to commemorate Director’s Day worldwide. The Chief Minister confirmed that he would definitely attend.”
