TFJA, Phoenix Foundation & Shankar Eye Hospital’s “Free Eye Screening Camp” Receives A Great Response

The Telugu Film Journalists Association (TFJA), in association with Phoenix Foundation and Shankar Eye Hospital, organized a health camp on Saturday (April 26) at the Telugu Film Chamber in Hyderabad. Free eye-screening tests were conducted exclusively for film journalists as part of the initiative.

Talented young actor Priyadarshi, prolific producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, Phoenix Group Director Avinash Chukkapalli, and Shankar Eye Hospital Unit Head Vishwa Mohan graced the event as chief guests.

The health camp was inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Priyadarshi and Naga Vamsi. Avinash Chukkapalli, Vishwa Mohan, TFJA President Lakshmi Narayana, Vice President Raghu, and General Secretary YJ Rambabu lit the sacred lamp (jyothi prajwalana) and launched the event.

Priyadarshi also underwent an eye checkup at the event, and the doctors confirmed that his vision was perfectly fine. Speaking on the occasion, Priyadarshi said, “I feel elated to be part of this wonderful health initiative organized by the Telugu Film Journalists Association at the Telugu Film Chamber. My sincere thanks to Avinash Chukkapalli garu from Phoenix Foundation, Vishwa Mohan garu from Shankar Eye Hospital, and the TFJA heads for taking such a thoughtful step towards journalists’ health. Everyone should prioritize their health.”

The camp witnessed a great turnout with over 100 journalists and their family members undergoing the free eye screening services. The event, held from morning to afternoon, was well-received and appreciated by everyone.
