The Telugu Film Producers Council has taken a big resolution about the streaming of Telugu films on digital platforms like Amazon Prime, Hotstar, and Netflix.
TFPC has passed a request to all producer members to not stream their films on digital platforms right after a month of a film’s theater release.Unlike the initial time duration of three weeks, movies will now be run on these digital platforms only eight weeks after their release.
“We will start implementing this new orders from April 1st,” says producer Suresh Babu, who adds, “This resolution will not only increase the theatrical revenue, but it will also save the distributors, exhibitors and the producers who spend crores of rupees in films.”
