Veteran Actor Harnath’s Andala Natudu Book released by Superstar Krishna

Buddharaju Haranath Raju erstwhile Telugu hero of the Black & White era and the heart throb and darling boy of many women folk of his time, was born on 2nd September, 1936 in Raparthi, Pithapuram, E. Godavari Dist. Andhra Pradesh.
Did his schooling in Chennai, and completed his B. A. Degree in P. R. College, Kakinada.
In his career span, acted in 167 movies across five languages notably Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and one each in Hindi and Bengali.
He passed away in the year 1989 on the 1st November.
An ardent fan and admirer Dr. Kampally Ravichandran has penned his biography, titled ‘Andaala Natudu’ compiling some rare photographs and lesser known interesting facts.
Dr. Kampally Ravichandran is the recipient of many Nandi awards and other official decorations from Andhra Pradesh State and other organisations.

‘Andaala Natudu’ biography of Hero Late Harinath was released on the occasion of his birthday September 2nd, at 10 am by his contemporary Natasekhar Superstar Krishna at his residence in the presence of
Harnath’s daughter G. Padmaja, son in law GVG Raju (Film Producer-‘ Tholi Prema’ , ‘Godavari’ ) and grandsons Srinath Raju and Sriram Raju.

His son B. Srinivas Raju, (Film Producer- ‘Gokulamlo Seetha’ , ‘Raghavendra’) daughter in law Madhuri,
grandchildren Srilekha and Srihari reside in Chennai.

Releasing the book Superstar Krishna garu recollected fond and cheerful memories and mentioned that they had acted together in several movies and that he was a real (Andhaala Natudu) handsome hero and also a kind hearted human being.
Krishna garu also told that Harinath also produced a movie ‘Maa Inti Devatha’ with Krishna as hero.

His portrayal as Lord Rama in the song ‘Sri Sitaramula kalyanamu chudamu rarandi’ from the film ‘Sitarama Kalyanam’ Directed by Late Nataratna N. T. Rama Rao shall remain etched forever in the memories of Telugu audience.
