  • What is the storyline of Lamp?

Our film Lamp is a crime suspense thriller. It revolves around a series of murders, and how the protagonist navigates through the investigation in a humorous way. The climax reveals what actually happened and how he manages to stop the murders.

    • Can you describe your role in the movie?

I play the role of a constable who takes on the murder case and ultimately gets promoted to Inspector. My character maintains suspense while also bringing humor, which is one of the highlights of my role.

      • Tell us about your team.

Our film is produced by Vallé Shekhar Reddy and Janardhan Reddy, who previously produced Yedu Chepala Katha. The movie is directed by Rajasekhar. This is also the last film featuring the late choreographer Rakesh Master. The cast includes me, along with actress Madhupriya, Koti Kiran, Avantika, Venky, Nagendra, Chalapathi, Soumya, and Nagaraju.

        • What inspired you to establish Vinod Film Academy?

Many aspiring actors come into the film industry and get deceived without learning anything. Instead of facing difficulties, they can learn at our academy and be guided properly, increasing their chances of success. It saves them time, money, and reduces risks.

          • What challenges have you faced through the academy?

At our academy, we not only train students in acting but also provide them with job opportunities, ensuring that they earn back the fees they invested. However, some students expect roles without putting in the effort to learn. I always emphasize that opportunities come only through proper training.

            • How do you contribute to promoting new talent in Telugu cinema?

Audiences always look for fresh content. As an actor, I strive to bring novelty to my performances and encourage young talent. I also support upcoming filmmakers and producers by connecting them with our trained students as actors.

              • What are your upcoming projects?

My next film Barbaric is ready for release. I am also playing a key role as actor Suman’s son in Shasanama Chattama. Additionally, I am working on two films under the direction of Harsha and Thallada Sai Krishna as the lead actor.

                • Do you plan to continue as an actor or also explore production?

I am always open to acting in films, web series, and theater in diverse roles. On the production side, we have already produced several short films and web series through Vinod Film Academy. We are also planning to produce a feature film soon.

                  • What are your thoughts on the current trends in the Telugu film industry?

Nowadays, audiences do not differentiate between big-budget and small-budget films. If they like the content, they watch the film, making small films successful too. We believe Lamp will be a hit because of its strong content.

                    • Who are your favorite actors and directors?

I admire many directors, especially the new-age filmmakers. However, my top favorite director is S.S. Rajamouli. As for actors, my favorites are Balakrishna, Chiranjeevi, and Jr. NTR.

                      • Can you tell us about the release efforts for Lamp?

Due to the film’s graphics work, the release was delayed. However, we always aimed for a theatrical release and have ensured high production quality. We are thrilled that distributors have shown confidence in our film, with 150 theaters already locked for release. Lamp is set to release on March 14.

                        • What message do you want to give to the audience?

To make it affordable for everyone, we have set our movie ticket price at ₹110. We guarantee that audiences will get entertainment worth ₹210! The film has comedy, romance, great songs, action, and suspense. We promise you will thoroughly enjoy this thrilling entertainer!
