Mass Ka Das Vishwak Sen, who has won over crowds consistently for his varied script choices and versatile performances, is joining hands with blockbuster director Anudeep K.V. for a full-on family entertainer FUNKY. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya are bankrolling the project under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Srikara Studios will present the film.
The film formally commenced with a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad today in the presence of the cast & crew. Director Nag Ashwin sounded the clap, Camera Switched on by director Kalyan Shankar. Producer S Naga Vamsi handed over the script to the team.
True to the spirit of the film, a lively poster of Funky was unveiled by the team on the auspicious day, where the colourful title design is accompanied by the words ‘family entertainer’, arousing the curiosity of audiences. The poster further suggests that the film is likely to have around fun, family and endless laughter.
The makers assure Funky will boast of all the ingredients one expects from an energetic collaboration between Vishwak Sen and Anudeep. Funky will feature an ideal blend of verbal humour that Anudeep specialises in, capitalising on Vishwak’s abilities as a performer, packing in fun and entertainment catered to audiences of all age groups.
Talented, promising technician Suresh Sarangam is on board as the cinematographer for the film which also comprises National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli. Bheems Ceciroleo, who wooed audiences with his catchy music score for Tillu Square and delivered many chartbusters for MAD, will compose the music for Funky. He’s also part of other high-profile projects like Mass Jathara starring Ravi Teja, Sreeleela and MAD Square, Sequel to the blockbuster MAD.
